City of Liden

We've been staying in Leiderdorp, which is to Leiden as St.Matthews is to the Highlands. Leiden is absolutely amazing. All of the architecture is 300-400 years old, and there is tons to do. Everywhere you look, there is an amazing bar or a beautiful alley. It is seriously something that you would see in an old movie. This is what I always pictured when I thought of The Netherlands. Everything is cobblestone and there are bikes wizzing all around. The market was also very nice. It was there that I finally got to try the Salted Herring, which cemented my Dutch heritage.
